Nunavut Mining Symposium

Resource Investing News was invited to the Nunavut Mining Symposium held April 15, 2009 in Vancouver. The brainchild of Mark Kolebaba, President & CEO of Diamonds North Resources, the event featured the Honourable Peter Taptuna, Nunavut’s Deputy Premier and Minister Responsible for Mines and David Coffin, Editor, HRA (Hard Rock Analyst) Publications.
The event was sponsored by Diamonds North Resources (CVE:DDN), Commander Resources (CVE:CMD), Indicator Minerals (CVE:IME), Kivalliq Energy (CVE:KIV), Uranium North (CVE:UNR), Peregrine Diamonds (TSE:PGD), CBR Gold (CVE:CBG), Bayswater Uranium (CVE:BAY), Shear Minerals (CVE:SRM), Starfield Resources (TSE:SRU), Stornoway Diamond (TSE:SWY), Arctic Star Diamond (CVE:ADD) and Forum Uranium (CVE:FDC). All of these companies have projects in Nunavut.
